Revana Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2001, 750ml
“This wine has a beautiful dark red garnet color with a spicy, ripe, black cherry and currant aromas, enhanced with layers of judicious French oak from a variety of coopers. This is a big mouthful of wine! Again, the black cherry dominates, but there are lots of nuances here. A great combination of power and finesse. The tannins are very fine and lend a wonderful textural element and backbone to the wine. Exceptionally long finish.”

2001 Revana Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Just over 1,000 cases are produced of this 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (consultant Heidi Barrett is behind the wine). It exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a pleasant perfume of cedar, black currants, and creamy oak. Medium to full-bodied and elegant, with fine harmony. It should drink well for a decade. 88 points
