The 2009 Shea shows fresh aromas of sandalwood, candied cherries and rosemary bramble with an earthy background. Classic young Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir, this is a taught, tart-cherry pie-bomb with a blast of black and red fruit on the mid-palate. The flavors are long and subtle on the finish, echoing the fruit and earth notes. A young wine now, the 2009 Shea will continue to develop with cellaring. Only 265 cases produced.
